OFFENDERS under Derbyshire Probation supervision in the High Peak area have helped raise funds for a Bakewell hospital.
In the run-up to Christmas they made holly wreaths which were presented to Newholme Hospital. Patients then added the final touches before they were offered for sale.
The hospital has been raising funds for a special chair bed for use by relatives staying at the bedside of loved ones with dementia who are nearing the end of life.
Joy Fox, Community Payback Supervisor with Derbyshire Probation, said: “The offenders really enjoyed making the wreaths.”
