Billerettes celebrate shop’s relaunch

THE WORLD-FAMOUS Billerettes made a song and dance of the relaunch of Buxton’s Oxfam shop.

Bill Weston’s merry band of dancing majorettes performed their distinguished dance routines to gathered crowds outside the Spring Gardens shop, which has recently undergone a refurbishment.

The shop has been fitted with environmentally-friendly fixtures and fittings, as well as energy-efficient lighting and heating.

Shop manger Meera Puri said: “We are really pleased with the refit.

“Many customers have complimented how nice the shop looks.”
