Rachel Emma Hunter, 20, has been awarded a Bsc first-class honours in pharmacology from Nottingham Trent University. She was also awarded The Society of Biology Prize and the Susan Smith award for excellence. The daughter of Robert and Joanne Hunter of Penmore Lane, Hasland, she is a former pupil of Hasland Hall and Brookfield schools.
