Chesterfield Mrs E. Reddish : Obituary
Mrs E. Reddish Chesterfield Mrs Elizabeth Reddish, known as Lil, of Chesterfield, has died at Elm Lodge care home, Newbold, aged 89. Born at Blackrock, Co. Dublin, Republic of Ireland, but living locally in the Boythorpe area for 50 years, her family and friends were her life and she enjoyed playing bingo and reading up until she was registered blind ten years ago. Mrs Reddish also enjoyed listening to Irish music and had a keen sense of fun. The widow of Ken, she leaves daughters Carol, Pamela and Sandra, three sons-in-law, ten grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren. She was pre-deceased by daughter Maureen. The requiem mass is due to take place at, St. Hughes R.C. Church, Newbold, tomorrow (Friday, February 17), at 10am, followed by burial at Boythorpe Cemetery. Afterwards refreshments at The Victoria Inn, Brampton. Donations in Lil's memory will go to the Derbyshire Association for the Blind (D.A.B). Funeral directors B.
