1st Chapel– en –le –Frith Pathfinder Scouts have recently returned from their Summer Camp at the Essex International Jamboree 2008 held in Kirby-le-Soken near Clacton on Sea.
Fifteen Scouts and six Leaders were able to take part in a very wide range of activities including archery, air-rifle shooting, go-kart racing, quad bike riding, canoeing, sailing and a large 'It's a Knockout' competition complete with inflatables a
nd water.
All who attended the event had a hugely enjoyable time, which will be remembered for a long time to come, culminating with a large firework display at the end of a busy and fun-filled week.
Pathfinder Scouts are very grateful to the following people and organisations who helped in the fund-raising effort that in order to take part: The Kings Arms in Chapel, Chapel Carnival Committee, Horderns Motor House, Derbyshire County Council.
1st Chapel – en – le – Frith Pathfinder Scout troop is constantly growing and now have over 30 Scouts who meet on a Wednesday evening.

Pathfinder Scouts are set to lose one of their leaders due to a change of jobs and leaving the area so if anybody that would like to become involved in helping to run the troop they would love to hear from you at the same email address.
