A CARTOON workshop at a leisure centre is being organised by library staff in Chapel to celebrate National Year of Reading.
The free workshop, for all 10 to 16-year-olds, with illustrator Chris White will take place on Saturday from 10am to 1pm at Chapel Leisure Centre.

Chris will be creating portraits and encouraging young people to have aM go themselves.Staff will be on hand so people can sign up to become a member of the Market Street library on the day and borrow books straight awMay.

DCC's cabinet member for cultural services Councillor Bob Janes said: "Staff at Chapel-en-le-Frith Library are keen to highlight the benefits of becoming a member."
