WHAT you didn't spend on holiday could be a lifeline back home at Blythe House Hospice...
The hospice receives great support from the local community, but to maintain its current services requires £350,000 per year from charitable donations, grants and legacies. Approximately a third of the hospice's funding comes from the Primary Care Trust.
They need at least £4,000 each week in order to continue and improve what they offer. No donation is too small.
So with the peak travel season coming up Blythe House is asking anyone who has or is travelling abroad to donate their left-over foreign currency. They will then exchange this into sterling to raise much-needed funds.
If you can help or would like further information, contact the hospice on 01298 815388 and leave your contact details.
Alternatively email:
lucy.marsden@blythehouse.nhs.uk. Donations can be taken to Blythe House Hospice, Eccles Fold Road, Chapel-en-le Frith, High Peak, SK23 9TJ or to any of their shops on High Street, Chapel-en-le-Frith, High Street, Buxton or Union Road, New Mills.
