IT WAS a case of hair today, gone tomorrow for charity fundraiser Simon Hurst.
Simon, of Buxton's Marks and Spencer shop, had his legs waxed at the store and raised £140 for Blythe House Hospice. The leg wax was part of an ongoing series of fundraisers by staff at the store to mark the retail chain's 125th anniversary.

A number of competitions and events are being held and staff have teamed up with their counterparts at the Macclesfield store for a charity walk. Taking place on August 16, staff from the Buxton store will walk from Macclesfield to Buxton while staff from Macclesfield will walk to Buxton with the aim of the two groups meeting somewhere in the middle.

Anyway who wants to support the fundraising efforts can sponsor the team at the store.
